TB? what is it?

Tuberculosis (TB) is the third largest cause of death in INDONESIA.
It is estimated that each year there are 539,000 new cases, and of the case 101 000 people died of TB. TB can be cured if patients take medication from a doctor regularly for 6-8 months in accordance with doctor's instructions
    This treatment takes a long time, so it is possible non-adherent patients in swallowing the drug, while there is still a stigma about TB, and the very limited information services and treatment of TB in the community.
    To overcome these problems and the role of society as a cadre of officers from leading health care unit is essential. Expected with the presence of cadres and workers in the public assistance will decrease drop-out rates and increased recovery and discovery of the TB cases in the region.
